I get a weird sense of satisfaction when an artist or band randomly follows me on Twitter. Feels like "YES! I'm recognized as someone who enjoys music!". That feeling is quadrupled when the band is actually good!

That happened a few days ago when Wave Tourists followed me out of the blue. I, of course, just had to post about them! I went through their songs trying to pick my favorite to share. Lisa Jaeggi - Whether He Knows

I'm REALLY EXCITED to be posting about Lisa. I believe I stumbled on this track while listening to an 8tracks Indie playlist. Then, I started searching for more information about Lisa. Other than her website and MySpace page, there really wasn't much. Which is so disappointing considering how flawless this song is! I love everything about it! It's super catchy, the lyrics are amazing, the tune is mellow and most importantly, I LOVE HER VOICE! I also love the "I don't give a shit" impression she kind of gives off. She sounds like a less country version of Brandie Carlile. And I absolutely ADORE Carlile. I'm listening to her two albums as we "speak". I can assure you they're worth buying!

I first fell in love with the original version of this song, by the Postal Service. But then Songza played me the acoustic version by Iron and Wine in one of their bedtime playlists. I think I like it a tiny bit better! Depends on how you're feeling though.
